"The Medical Identity Fraud Alliance (MIFA) developed this survey to capture investments within the healthcare industry related to the detection, prevention and mitigation of medical identity theft and fraud. All responses are anonymous unless you elect to self-identify yourself and/or your company.
For the purposes of this survey, medical identity theft is defined as the theft of Personally Identifiable Information (PII), including Protected Health Information (PHI). Medical identity fraud is any activity that results from the stolen PHI/PII which allowed personal gain by another individual, including financial gain from the sale of PHI/PII and/or from the use of PHI/PII to obtain medical goods and services.
The survey should take about 15 minutes or less to complete.
